You can choose from between Hazel (gray), Obsidian (black), or Snow (white). Google offers the Pixel 7 Pro in three different colors. It retains the chunky horizontal camera bar on the back panel but trades the glass finish of the original camera bar for polished aluminum. The Pixel 7 Pro design is hardly changed from last year's Pixel 6 Pro. Some people don't mind larger, heavier phones. That makes it a little larger and heavier than the Galaxy S22+ (6.20 by 2.98 by 0.30 inches, 6.9 ounces), as well as the Pixel 7 (6.13 by 2.88 by 0.34 inches and 6.9 ounces). The Pixel 7 Pro measures 6.41 by 3.02 by 0.35 inches (HWD) and weighs 7.48 ounces. The glass is curved fairly steeply along the side edges, which contrasts with the flatter screens of the S22+ and iPhone 14 Pro. You'll also note a punch-hole selfie camera at the top of the screen. The front design is nearly bezel-less, though there's a slight chin at the bottom. The Samsung Galaxy S22+, for comparison, has a contrast ratio of three million to one, which means it can hit deep black levels that the Pixel 7 Pro can't. Other notable display features include support for 24-bit color, HDR, and a one-million-to-one contrast ratio. The trade-off for all these pixels and speed is battery life, which we'll get into below. The 7 Pro features an adaptive refresh rate display that oscillates between 60Hz and 120Hz to balance efficiency and smooth performance, which is similar to the S22+'s 120Hz screen but a boost over the 90Hz rate of the Pixel 7. It's a bit bigger than the screen of the S22+ (6.6 inches, 2,340 by 2,080 pixels, 390pp) and that of the Pixel 7 (6.3 inches, 2,400 by 1,080 pixels, 416ppi). The 6.7-inch OLED panel has a resolution of 3,210 by 1,440 pixels, for a density of 512ppi. One of the main selling points of the Pixel 7 Pro will be the display, after all, today's phone buyers love a big screen.
